    Did You Know     Across our region, every 27 hours one of our neighbors calls upon a Red Cross volunteer to support them after a fire, flood, hurricane or other disaster.       Did You Know     The American Red Cross is the only Congressionally Chartered non-profit organization with a lead role in federal, state and local disaster response.       Did You Know     When a major hurricane looms off our shore, the local Red Cross can shelter some 100,000 people across our region.       Did You Know     Over 21,000 of your neighbors are better prepared in times of crisis because they have taken lifesaving CPR training from the Red Cross.       Did You Know     Over 3,900 of your neighbors are trained Red Cross volunteers, prepared to respond to any crisis regardless of the hour.       Did You Know     Members of the Armed Forces stationed around the world depend on the American Red Cross to deliver emergency communications from family and friends during times of crisis.       Did You Know     Down the street.
