The Count & Countess de Hoernle South County Service Center, located on N. Federal Highway in Boca Raton, was originally provided to the American Red Cross, Palm Beach/Treasure Coast Chapter by the Count and Countess de Hoernle and other generous donors in the early nineties. Our Service Center underwent major renovations in 2008 in order to better meet the needs of South Palm Beach County’s growing community.

The Service Center has the ability to service over 200,000 residents from Hypoluxo Road all the way south to Boca Raton and west to the unincorporated areas of Southern Palm Beach County. We have approximately 200 volunteers donating their time and energy in various capacities, including: 
      
   - Responding to local house fires/disasters by serving on our "Disaster Action Team"
   - Teaching life-saving health & safety training classes (CPR, First Aid, Lifeguarding, etc) 
   - Coordinating large events such as our Annual Gala or Mad Hatter's Event
   - Providing assistance with various tasks around the office
   - Delivering speaking engagements at community events/fairs/businesses on a variety of topics
   - And much more!
